This is a format of North American radio stations that is tailored to Asian or Pacific Islander audiences, either in language or in topic, or both. They are mostly located on the Pacific coast where the Asian population is most dense, in the states of California, Washington and Hawaii, and in the Canadian province of British Columbia. These stations are mostly on the AM dial.
